Wendy is a lifelong Memphian and has been with LRK since 2011. Her focus has played a crucial role in implementation of BIM office standards through all phases from conceptual design through construction administration. Using creativity and hard work this focus has translated into successful project coordination and delivery for her clients. Her knowledge on a diverse array of project types has proven her to be an asset to the project team. She has worked on several local projects including The Renasant Convention Center, The Commonwealth, FedExFamily House Phase II, and Tennessee Brewery.
Wendy loves mentoring younger professionals and is passionate about teaching them the ins and outs of the profession. She spearheads the Emerging Professionals group and as an NCARB licensing advisor. Wendy assists licensure candidates and architects as they navigate the path to licensure and reciprocity. Her knowledge of NCARB and her mentorship are a major asset to LRK.
She is the Vice President of CSI Memphis, a board member of the Humane Society of Memphis and Shelby County, a committee member of Hard Hats with Heart, a mentor at Youth Villages, an architect licensing advisor with NCARB and a Fellow of the New Memphis Institute.
Wendy loves everything mid-century modern. In her spare time, she renovates her MCM ranch with husband Chris. They have 3 fur babies-Herman, Hazel and Willow, who all claim to be superintendents of the renovation projects. Wendy is always looking toward the future. She plans on adding Master Gardener and being on the Mayor’s Young Professional’s Counsel to her ever growing list of accomplishments
